Start with the salted caramel note and silky sweetness. Then look for citrus alongside them.
Let the cup cool a little. Notice how that bright note sits beside the sweetness, and where you find your favorite balance.
Tasting notes describe the coffee. Individual cups vary.
Rainlight is medium: the middle roast in our three-coffee collection. Salted caramel and silky sweetness give you familiar notes, with citrus to explore beside them.
Sunwoven is medium-light; Stonebloom is medium-dark. Use roast as one way to choose, then follow the distinct origin and process behind each coffee.
Rainlight follows the washed process. The fruit is removed before the coffee finishes drying.
It is a different path from Sunwoven’s whole-cherry drying. Those distinct processes are part of what makes the collection worth exploring.

Coffee grows inside a fruit called a cherry. In washed processing, the fruit is removed before the coffee completes its drying stage.
Rainlight’s listed process is Washed. Its medium roast, Amazonas origin and the way you brew are other parts of the story behind the cup.
Rainlight comes from Amazonas, Peru, with a listed growing elevation of 1,600–1,800 metres.
Its name imagines light returning after rain over Peru’s highlands. In the cup, begin with caramel sweetness and follow the citrus lift.

Start with one part coffee to sixteen parts water for pour-over or drip. Adjust the next cup to your taste.

While traveling, an unexpected pour-over changed the way I thought about coffee. Its amber glow and unfamiliar flavors made me want to discover more—and to share that possibility through Zaya.
Rainlight brings that invitation into a medium-roast cup: caramel-like sweetness to recognize, with citrus to discover beside it. There is something familiar to enjoy, and another note to follow.
The name evokes a little light returning after rain over Peru’s highlands.
